We attended the Women's Action Plan Meeting organized by DEVA Party. At the meeting, the party President Ali Babacan, and the Head of Women's Policies Elif Esen presented DEVA Party's Women's Action Plan. 

Ali Babacan stated that: Women have been deprived of their basic rights. Regime debates, secularism and religiousness have been defined through women. If there is women, there is a solution, there is development, there is abundance. 

Elif Esen stated that: Turkey ranks 112th among 146 countries in the political participation of women. One of the decisions we took as the opposition group (6lı Masa) is establishing a ministry responsible for women. We promise that Turkey will return to the Istanbul Convention. Creating rules and laws are not enough to solve gender inequality. We will create policies for women. We will implement a program to increase women's participation and representation in politics. We will make gender-sensitive budgeting. We will carry out work to lift women and girl children out of poverty, deprivation and violence.
